how to get soft, smooth lips:
easy homemade lip scrub:
Step 1: Place 1 tsp. natural honey in a small, sterile cup. Warm the honey in the microwave for 4 to 5 seconds. (The healing, hydrating properties of honey will result in soft, supple lips)
Step 2: Stir in 1 tsp. of oil. Select a healthy, edible oil such as olive oil, sweet almond oil or sunflower oil. (Oil will create a thin, protective barrier on the lips)
Step 3: Add 2 tsp. granulated white sugar and stir in a drop of lemon juice (the sugar will create a gentle, abrasive exfoliant to remove dead skin)
Step 4: Add 1 to 2 drops of essential oil, if desired. Try peppermint or spearmint for a soothing, healing lip scrub, or flavour your lip scrub with taste mango, lime or lemon flavoured oil
Step 5: Wash your hands, then use your finger to apply the scrub to your lips, using gentle, circular motions. Wipe the scrub off your lips with a damp cotton ball. Finish by applying your favorite lip moisturizer or balm
